About these terms
These terms govern your use of TrueBite and its related services provided by Rupasya Circle FZE (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The privacy policy explains how personal information is handled.
Questions about these terms can be sent to truebite@rupasyacircle.com. Mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer and data-protection law are not excluded by these terms.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 and meet any higher age requirement under local law or the applicable store listing. If you are not legally able to enter into these terms independently, a parent or legal guardian must authorise and supervise your use.
Where an account is available, provide accurate information, keep sign-in credentials secure, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for your own use of the app and for content you choose to share.
Using TrueBite
Food labels should make sense. TrueBite brings ingredients, nutrition, and food information into a simple view, so you can get to know what’s in your basket.
Features, supported devices, and availability can vary by version, platform, region, or plan. The relevant store listing and in-app description explain what is included in the version you obtain. Website screenshots are illustrative and may differ from the current interface.
Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the app for its intended purposes. This permission does not transfer ownership of the app or its underlying materials.
Important product limitations
TrueBite provides general food information, not medical or dietary advice. Product information can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect, and formulations can change. Always check the current packaging and manufacturer information, particularly for allergens. Do not rely on the app to decide whether a food is safe for an allergy or medical condition.
You remain responsible for evaluating information and deciding whether it is appropriate for your situation. Automated or generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable.
Your content and permissions
You retain the rights you hold in content you provide. You grant the permissions reasonably necessary to store, process, display, and deliver that content for the features you request. These permissions do not transfer ownership of your content to us.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for content you upload or share, including any required recording consent. Do not submit content that unlawfully infringes privacy, intellectual property, or another person’s rights. Consider keeping an independent copy of content important to you.
Responsible use
Do not use the app for unlawful activity, harassment, exploitation, impersonation, or distributing harmful content. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access, bypass access or payment controls, interfere with security, introduce malicious code, or disrupt the service.
Do not copy, resell, or commercially exploit the app or its protected content without authorisation. Restrictions do not override rights to interoperability, research, or other activities that applicable law expressly protects.
Purchases and subscriptions
If a version of the app offers paid features, the price, billing period, included features, and any trial or renewal conditions are shown before purchase. A website preview does not itself create a charge or subscription.
Purchases made through an app store are billed and managed under that store’s payment terms. Where a subscription renews automatically, cancel through the platform used to subscribe before its displayed renewal deadline if you do not want it to renew. Uninstalling the app or requesting account deletion does not by itself cancel a store subscription.
Refund requests are handled through the platform used for purchase or as required by applicable law. These terms do not limit statutory refund or cancellation rights. Any price or material subscription change is subject to required notice and consent.
Third-party services
App stores, external links, and independent services you choose to use have their own terms. An external provider’s availability and content are outside our direct control. Any processing of personal information on our behalf remains subject to our obligations under applicable law.
Our intellectual property
The app, its design, software, brand, and original materials belong to Rupasya Circle FZE or their respective licensors. Except for the permission to use the service and rights granted by law, these terms do not grant rights to reproduce, modify, distribute, or use our branding.
Changes, availability, and ending use
We may maintain, update, or modify the app and may need to interrupt access for security or technical reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Material changes affecting paid access will be handled in accordance with the relevant purchase terms and applicable law.
Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address a serious breach, security risk, unlawful activity, or legal requirement. Where practicable and lawful, we will explain the reason and how to contact us. You may stop using the app at any time and request deletion as described in the privacy policy.
Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and its informational content are provided on an “as available” basis without additional guarantees of accuracy, suitability for a particular purpose, or a particular result.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability or consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Questions and disputes
Please contact truebite@rupasyacircle.com first so that we can try to resolve a concern. Applicable mandatory law determines your rights and any court or regulator you are entitled to approach. These terms do not require you to give up mandatory consumer protections or access to a competent court.
Changes to these terms
The date on this page identifies the current version. We may revise these terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will provide notice of material changes where required and seek agreement where the law requires it. If you do not agree to an updated version, stop using the affected service; existing statutory and purchase rights remain protected.
